Our Covid-19 Response

In light of the global Covid-19 pandemic J&D Farmers Dairy Service would like to reassure all of our customers that the shop in Abbotsford will still be open and operating with regular hours. To ensure that our customers and staff remain safe during this uncertain time we have implemented strict cleaning policies, and social distancing at the shop and for our staff on farms. We ask that anyone that is sick or feels the least bit unwell remain home and refrain from coming to the shop. Please contact the shop or your route truck salesman for any supplies you need on farm, we will accommodate those needs in due time. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact us through social media, email, or phone the shop at 604-853-2372.

We are all in this together, and together we can protect the vulnerable amongst us.

J&D has been servicing the dairy industry in BC for 50 years.  Started in 1969 at a small location on Railway Ave in Abbotsford, Dick DeLange was at the helm until 1979.  When Albert DeLange took over he moved the company to its present location on Riverside Road and expanded the offerings to the dairy industry, including opening a location in Enderby to service the BC interior.  In 2015 Ryan DeLange took over the business, continuing its expansion.  Currently J&D employs over 35 full time staff, with the core of the employees having been with the company for over 15 years.

DeLaval has always been the main business of J&D, from the parlours of the 70’s to the new VMS Milking robots of today.  Over the years J&D has expanded to offer complete barn solutions, including cattle housing and penning, ventilation, waterers, manure handling and a manufacturing division.

While reflecting on the first 50 years and looking forward to the next 50, J&D continues to embrace new technology and provide solutions, ensuring our clients can harvest milk from their livestock in the most sustainable way, both for the environment and the animals.
